Arclin Debuts Advanced Protective Textiles at NSC Safety Congress 2026

Materials science firm Arclin is highlighting its latest evolution in industrial safety this week at the National Safety Congress & Expo in Indianapolis. From September 14–16, the company is showcasing new applications for its Nomex and Kevlar portfolios, specifically targeting high-risk environments where arc flash and cut hazards remain constant threats.

The exhibition at the Indiana Convention Center, booth #4103, centers on the company’s ongoing efforts to modernize protective wear. Arclin is placing particular emphasis on its Nomex Xtreme Arc (NXA) fabric. This material utilizes proprietary ArmorCell technology, which reacts to extreme heat by creating insulating air pockets, a mechanism engineered to slow heat transfer and mitigate the severity of potential burns.

"Protecting people in demanding environments requires us to continually look for ways to improve how materials perform," said Trey Roy, Arclin's North American Market Leader for Personal Protection. By integrating these advancements, the company aims to address the specific needs of workers in sectors ranging from utilities and aerospace to petrochemical operations. Beyond flame resistance, the booth features high-performance Kevlar fiber technologies designed to bolster durability and cut protection in rugged industrial settings.
