Tyler Luck, CEO of Brand Engagement Network, described the technology as an "engagement layer" for media that allows for measurable outcomes rather than generic impressions. Renato Rocha Pinto, CEO of Cataneo, noted that the move aims to reduce irrelevant advertising while improving economic efficiency for brands. The companies are entering a market currently valued at $44 billion, with Omdia projections suggesting global connected TV advertising revenue could reach $81 billion by 2030. As the industry integrates streaming with e-commerce, this technology offers networks and agencies a new medium to move beyond standard viewership metrics toward direct, transaction-oriented engagement.
