While the partnership is new, the connection is not; students have previously participated in World ORT's Ecology Summer School, and the organization maintains a historical presence in Venezuela through past vocational training in fields like electricity and plumbing.

Dov Ben-Shimon, CEO of World ORT, emphasized that the collaboration provides the school with the resources of a global network during a critical recovery period. For the school, the move coincides with its 80th anniversary. Board President Deborah Mizrahi de Sananes noted that the affiliation bridges the school's long-standing local legacy with a broader international vision, aiming to secure new opportunities for students and educators alike despite the country's ongoing economic and political volatility.
