In this newly established position, George will oversee the development of financing structures and strengthen ties with banking partners and institutional investors. He joins a firm managing over $50 billion in assets, tasked with scaling a platform that has become increasingly central to Silver Point’s growth strategy. Working alongside the firm’s investment teams, George will focus on refining debt capital market capabilities to support both sponsor-backed and independent middle-market borrowers.
Anthony DiNello, head of direct lending at Silver Point, noted that George’s background in structuring collateralized loan obligations and credit lines is essential to the firm’s next phase. George previously spent 18 years at Golub Capital, where he served as managing director and head of structured products, playing a key role in building that firm’s private credit securitization platform. He joins Silver Point during a period of expansion for its direct lending arm across North America and Europe.
