Markham Inventor Pitches Roll@Risk Tabletop Game

A Markham, Illinois inventor has developed Roll@Risk, a tabletop game that combines cards, dice, and chips to create a screen-free social experience. Designed for players aged six and up, the patent-pending concept aims to offer a fresh alternative to traditional board games through a dynamic point-building system.

The game centers on a mechanism where participants collect and disperse chips based on dice rolls, introducing an element of chance meant to keep groups engaged. Beyond family-friendly play, the design accommodates adult gaming environments, functioning as a gambling variant that relies on the outcome of each toss. The inventor sought to move away from electronic entertainment, favoring a tactile design that requires minimal setup time.

InventHelp is currently representing the project, which is available for licensing or acquisition by manufacturers. Interested parties can access a prototype and technical documentation through the company's Chicago office under reference number CHK-6005.
