Architects, security experts, and hardware professionals will gather at the Hyatt Regency Chicago from October 21–22 for DHI conNextions 2026. The 2026 agenda introduces over 20 CEU-certified sessions, offering credits recognized by the American Institute of Architects, the Door & Hardware Institute, and the International Code Council. Programming emphasizes practical application, covering complex topics such as healthcare door assemblies, school security, and the latest 2024–2027 code updates. Organizers designed these sessions to bridge the gap between design intent and field-ready technical specifications.

A significant addition to this year’s format is the conNextions LIVE stage, located directly on the exhibit floor. This space features interactive panels, live product demonstrations, and industry-led debates, including the Spec Wars competition. Attendees can engage with experts on-site to discuss project coordination and emerging technology trends. Beyond the educational tracks, the exhibit hall remains a central hub where manufacturers showcase hardware innovations and security solutions aimed at solving modern construction challenges.
