Developed in partnership with RecruitMilitary, the platform addresses the persistent issue of overlooked talent by using AI to translate military roles, training, and achievements into actionable civilian skill sets. Unlike standard keyword-based searches that rely on rigid job titles, the technology creates dynamic candidate profiles that highlight leadership, adaptability, and complex problem-solving abilities.
The system’s effectiveness was demonstrated at William & Mary’s Mason School of Business, where it identified a pipeline of 26,000 potential candidates, allowing hiring teams to validate talent-market decisions in just 15 minutes. By integrating proprietary data with expert-labeled insights, the software removes the requirement for recruiters to possess deep military knowledge to identify qualified applicants.
Findem CEO Hari Kolam noted that hiring systems frequently undervalue service members by reducing their experience to unrecognized titles. The platform aims to create more equitable career paths for veterans and military spouses by surfacing the professional value that often remains hidden in traditional recruiting workflows. The tool will be showcased at the HR Tech 2026 conference in Las Vegas this October.
