Therap Services Updates Behavior Tracking for Human Services Providers

Torrington-based Therap Services has unveiled a refined behavior tracking module designed to streamline clinical documentation for providers of long-term and community-based support. The update introduces dual-method data logging, allowing staff to capture both sporadic incidents and high-frequency behavioral events within a single HIPAA-compliant interface.

The platform addresses the administrative load on care providers by integrating real-time data entry with automated analytical tools. Users can log specific behaviors, antecedents, and interventions, which the system then converts into visual reports. These dashboards are intended to help teams evaluate the effectiveness of individual behavior plans by tracking metrics such as duration, frequency, and intensity.

To accommodate different clinical needs, the module offers two distinct recording modes. The Event Data section serves as the standard tool for occasional occurrences, while the Interval Data feature is optimized for behaviors that manifest multiple times throughout a single day. Beyond daily logs, the software includes a Significant Life Events feature to ensure that broader contextual data remains accessible to care teams. By automating graph generation and trend analysis, the system aims to shift staff focus away from manual reporting and toward direct support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
