The Yurchison property, held under an option agreement with Skyharbour Resources, sits 75 kilometres south of the Rabbit Lake operation. While the region holds a long exploration history dating back to before 2000, much of the data remains scattered. Purecore’s current program involves digitizing historical drilling logs, geochemical samples, and airborne geophysical surveys to build a unified geological model.
Peter Berdusco, President and CEO of Purecore, noted that the initiative is designed to refine the company's understanding of the property's structural controls. Previous prospecting at the site uncovered uranium mineralization, with historical trench samples returning values between 0.09% and 0.30% U₃O₈. By integrating these findings with modern VTEM and magnetic survey data, the company intends to move beyond legacy exploration to establish a modern foundation for future field operations. Dr. Dennis LaPoint, acting as the independent Qualified Person, has reviewed the technical parameters of the program.
