Williams built his foundational expertise at the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara and Emory University’s Morehouse School of Medicine. His career trajectory began in public service as an epidemiologist for the State of Georgia, where he served as the inaugural Director of the Georgia AIDS Program. Since 1997, he has held the roles of President and CEO at the Southside Medical Center, an organization originally founded in 1967 to provide primary care to the medically underserved.

In his current capacity, Williams oversees a staff of approximately 60 medical professionals while maintaining a clinical focus on preventative medicine, age-management, and weight loss. Beyond his primary administrative duties, he exerts significant influence across Georgia's healthcare infrastructure. He serves as President of the Choice Healthcare Network, chairs the Georgia State School of Public Health Board, and holds leadership positions with the Peach State Healthcare Board and the Atlanta Community Access Board. A fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians, he dedicates this professional recognition to his father, Dr. Robert Williams.
