The new lab serves as the engine for the company’s digital transformation, moving beyond experimental research into actionable business results. Under the co-leadership of Mohamed Nabil Hayel Saeed and Theo Breward, the unit will focus on four primary pillars: workforce capability building, automated operations, integrated system development, and the incubation of AI-enabled business models. To ensure the initiative delivers measurable returns, more than 40 group leaders recently completed a two-day strategy session to bridge the gap between abstract concepts and implementation.
Nabil Hayel Saeed, Managing Director of HSA Group, emphasized that the lab is designed to leverage the firm’s 88-year history while modernizing its competitive edge. By partnering with global technology experts, the group plans to enforce strict governance and responsible deployment protocols across its 70 operating companies. This centralized approach allows individual business units to lead their own initiatives while utilizing the lab’s technical expertise to maintain ethical standards and operational safety.
