West Monroe and Sitenna Partner to Digitize Utility Infrastructure

Utilities are struggling to manage grid modernization projects trapped in fragmented spreadsheets and disconnected emails. To bridge this gap, Chicago-based consultant West Monroe and infrastructure platform provider Sitenna have launched a partnership designed to centralize field data and accelerate the delivery of critical network and energy programs.

The collaboration targets the administrative friction that often slows down grid upgrades, fiber deployments, and the integration of distributed energy resources. By implementing Sitenna’s lifecycle management software, West Monroe aims to replace manual reporting processes with a governed system of record that integrates directly with existing GIS and work management tools. This digital shift is intended to provide project managers with real-time visibility into asset milestones and potential bottlenecks.

Beyond technical integration, the companies have established a commercial framework that simplifies procurement for utilities. Because the two firms have pre-aligned their service models, clients can bypass the lengthy vetting cycles typically required when introducing new software vendors. According to Tim Valin, Senior Partner at West Monroe, the goal is to shorten the distance between field activity and actionable strategy. Sitenna CEO Daniel Campion noted that the platform is built to prevent the creation of yet another siloed system, allowing teams to manage complex infrastructure sites, agreements, and equipment within a single, unified environment.
