Tel Aviv Stock Exchange Targets 18% Revenue Growth in Five-Year Plan

The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange has unveiled a strategic roadmap for 2027-2031, aiming to accelerate annual revenue growth to a range of 15% to 18%. The plan focuses on deepening integration with global capital markets while leveraging AI, tokenization, and extended trading hours to attract international investors.

Building on the momentum of its previous cycle, where organic growth surpassed initial targets, the exchange is pivoting toward a more aggressive international model. CEO Ittai Ben Zeev described the strategy as a transition into a technology-enabled infrastructure group, emphasizing that the resilience of the Israeli economy provides a stable foundation for these ambitious expansion goals.

A core component of the initiative involves increasing market accessibility for foreign participants. TASE is evaluating the introduction of an after-market trading session to better align with global time zones and is exploring dual-currency trading for eligible securities. These efforts are designed to bolster liquidity and provide a seamless entry point for institutional players and global brokers.

Technological modernization remains a primary driver for long-term scalability. The exchange intends to integrate AI-driven analytics, expand its collateral management services, and advance DLT-based solutions for tokenized assets. By refining its internal corporate structure and pursuing strategic partnerships, TASE aims to create a more flexible environment for innovation while maintaining the regulatory integrity required of a primary financial hub.
