Myosin Therapeutics Joins NCI 2026-2027 Oncology Showcase

Selected from a competitive pool of NCI-funded innovators, Jupiter-based Myosin Therapeutics earned a spot in the 2026–2027 Investor Initiatives Showcase. The selection highlights the company’s focus on targeting molecular nanomotors, an unconventional approach to disrupting the physical machinery that allows cancer cells to invade and survive within the body.

The NCI cohort consists of 30 companies chosen through a rigorous peer review process involving over 70 investors and strategic partners. Myosin’s inclusion marks a milestone for its lead asset, MT-125, a first-in-class, brain-penetrant dual non-muscle myosin inhibitor. The drug is currently undergoing a Phase 1/2 trial known as STAR-GBM and has already secured FDA Fast Track and Orphan Drug designations for glioblastoma treatment.

CEO Courtney Miller noted that the NCI has served as a consistent partner during the development of MT-125. Beyond this lead program, the company is advancing MT-110, an NIH-supported, IND-stage asset targeting CNS disorders. Inclusion in the showcase grants Myosin direct access to investor networks and a feature in the NCI’s 2026–2027 Companies Book, further validating their platform’s potential to address both solid and hematologic malignancies.
