Under the new terms, participants receive a complimentary FlyUSA Gold Membership, valued at $4,995, and transition to a pay-as-you-go model. For every dollar spent on FlyUSA flights, customers earn $0.20 in promotional credits, eventually offsetting up to 100% of their verified stranded balance from previous providers.

Barry Shevlin, CEO of FlyUSA, emphasized that the model shifts the burden of trust away from the customer. By removing the requirement for a fresh six-figure deposit, the company aims to provide a safer alternative for those burned by defunct or struggling aviation services. While the program offers a recovery mechanism, the company clarified that it does not assume the legal liabilities of third-party firms. Instead, the credits function as a loyalty-based rebate system, requiring participants to demonstrate significant ongoing flight activity to reach their target recovery amount.
