Phoenix Education Partners has reached an agreement to acquire Fuel50, an artificial intelligence platform specialized in workforce transformation. The acquisition aligns with the parent company of the University of Phoenix’s broader mission to integrate skills-focused educational tools for working professionals and corporate partners navigating shifting labor market demands.

The transaction, for which financial terms remain undisclosed, is slated to close within the next 30 days. Following the acquisition, Fuel50 will maintain its identity as a distinct business entity. Jo Mills, the platform’s co-founder and current president, is expected to step into the role of chief executive officer to lead the company's next phase of growth.

Chris Lynne, CEO of Phoenix Education Partners, cited the platform’s deep workforce expertise and its vision for talent mobilization as primary drivers for the deal. By incorporating Fuel50’s technology, the organization aims to assist employers in identifying evolving skill requirements and fostering internal career development.
