The agreement positions KNOX as a key supplier for Wrexham’s men’s and women’s first teams and the club’s Academy. Beyond supplying products formulated with electrolytes, amino acids, and vitamins, the brand will gain naming rights to the club’s newly installed training pavilion. Kevin Mulholland, head of performance and sports science at Wrexham, will collaborate with the company to integrate their products into player recovery protocols, with branding visible at both the Racecourse Ground and The Rock.
John Schaefer, CEO of KNOX Hydration, highlighted the shared challenger mindset between the two organizations, noting the partnership serves as a vehicle to reach a global audience while supporting local community health. Michael Williamson, CEO of Wrexham AFC, echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the alignment of values regarding community commitment and ambitious growth. This deal arrives as KNOX accelerates its expansion across the UK, Europe, and the United States, positioning itself as a primary alternative to sugar-heavy sports drinks.
