SupplyHouse Awards $100,000 to Tradesmen Who Saved the Day

Ten skilled workers across the United States have been named winners of the 2026 Day Savers contest, each receiving a $10,000 prize. Selected from hundreds of customer nominations, these tradesmen were recognized for emergency repairs that left a lasting impact on homeowners, building managers, and neighbors during critical moments.

The winning crew includes Thomas Garber, Luke Watkins, Weston Mitchell, Cory Shepard, Austin Crisp, Rob Domagala, Nick Leckie, Phaisol Vo, Ben Kauffman, and Rommel Saldivar. Their nominations came from people recounting specific incidents, such as midnight plumbing emergencies and holiday electrical repairs. Kaylin Staub, Chief Marketing Officer for SupplyHouse, noted that the entries focused on highly personal details, reflecting the deep appreciation customers feel for those who restored order to their lives.

Country music icon Tim McGraw served as the campaign's voice, helping to promote the initiative ahead of the September 9 deadline. National Tradesmen Day, held on the third Friday of September, marks the occasion to honor these workers. SupplyHouse, an e-commerce company based in Melville, New York, launched the program to highlight the essential nature of skilled labor in maintaining infrastructure and residential comfort.
