The new product settles in USDT, simplifying profit-and-loss tracking by eliminating the need for token conversion. By integrating with Bybit’s Unified Trading Account, the system allows investors to manage spot, futures, and options positions within a single interface. Unlike traditional markets that require 100-share lots, these contracts support fractional sizes with a multiplier of one, aiming to lower the barrier for smaller market participants.
Mike Xue, head of Bybit’s option business, stated the company plans to expand the offering to include tickers such as Tesla, QQQ, SOXL, and Micron in the coming months. The platform currently supports various strategies, including spreads, straddles, and covered calls, while utilizing portfolio margin to allow traders to hedge their positions across different asset classes. The feature is currently available on the latest version of the Bybit mobile application.
