York Space Systems Faces Securities Lawsuit Over Software Failures

Investors who lost over $100,000 in York Space Systems stock have until October 30, 2026, to seek lead plaintiff status in a pending class action lawsuit. The litigation, filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado, targets the company’s disclosures surrounding its January 2026 initial public offering.

The lawsuit, Ianelli v. York Space Systems, Inc. et al., alleges that the aerospace firm misled shareholders regarding the functionality of its onboard mission and payload software. According to the complaint, the company allegedly launched satellites without completing critical software development, a move that reportedly put contracts with the Pentagon’s Space Development Agency at risk. Plaintiffs claim executives secured these government agreements through deceptive practices and failed to disclose that their internal operational projections lacked a reasonable basis.

The class period for the action covers investors who acquired shares between January 29, 2026, and May 11, 2026, or those who purchased stock traceable to the company’s January IPO registration statement. Kahn Swick & Foti, LLC, the firm representing the plaintiffs, is currently accepting inquiries from shareholders seeking to evaluate their legal options regarding the alleged violations of federal securities laws.
