For the third consecutive year, Atlanta-based offensive security firm Siemba has been named a Sample Vendor for Penetration Testing as a Service in three 2026 Gartner Hype Cycle reports. The inclusion underscores a shift toward platform-driven offensive security, as enterprises move away from traditional annual testing cycles to keep pace with AI-assisted development. According to Gartner, PTaaS now plays a critical role in Continuous Threat Exposure Management by providing dynamic scoping and rapid retesting capabilities. Siemba’s platform integrates automated vulnerability assessments with human-led penetration testing, targeting both traditional web surfaces and emerging AI-specific risks like agentic workflows and LLM applications.

Kannan Udayarajan, founder and CEO of Siemba, stated that the repeated recognition reflects a growing enterprise conviction that continuous testing has become a strategic imperative rather than a luxury. By automating the validation process and utilizing certified engineers for final sign-offs, the company aims to help CISOs address expanding attack surfaces at scale. The full findings are detailed in the 2026 Gartner Hype Cycle research, which serves as a strategic roadmap for security leaders evaluating technology maturity and investment priorities.
