Vivek Reddy, the study’s lead author and an electrophysiologist at Mount Sinai Health System, noted that delivering ablation energy in under 200 milliseconds minimizes the requirement for prolonged catheter stability while maintaining the precision of point-by-point treatment. Beyond the pulmonary veins, 49% of study participants underwent additional atrial target ablation, demonstrating the platform's clinical flexibility.
