The panel achieves its industry-leading performance through a proprietary driving algorithm that maintains stability at FHD resolution. By bypassing the need for a backlight, the technology allows individual pixels to emit light independently, creating a sharper, more immersive picture than traditional LCD alternatives. This level of responsiveness is designed specifically for the 24-inch class of monitors, which remains the standard for players who need to scan an entire screen instantly.
ASUS has already integrated the technology into its ROG Swift OLED PG259QWS Ace monitor. The hardware will debut on the global stage as the official display for the PGL CS2 Major Singapore 2026. LG Display plans to expand this momentum by leveraging its wider lineup of gaming panels, ranging from 20 to 40 inches, while integrating AI-driven development to maintain its technological lead over competitors.
