Winters brings over 15 years of executive experience to the expanded role, having previously led Nubia Brand International Corp and United Energy Inc. His background includes overseeing significant mergers and acquisitions, a skill set the company intends to leverage as it enters a new development phase. Mark Schwartz, who assumes the independent oversight role, adds 36 years of experience across the technology and consumer sectors, including board service at Starbucks and the growth of Bodega Latina Corporation.

The leadership update signals a transition for the Dallas-based firm, which maintains pilot facilities in Dayton, Ohio, and holds a portfolio of over 385 patents. While Dr. Bor Jang steps down as Chairman, he remains a member of the Board. The company continues to focus on next-generation battery production, specifically targeting energy storage for AI data centers and transportation sectors.
