Huawei Debuts Fintelligent AI Suite to Standardize Agentic Banking

At the HUAWEI CONNECT 2026 summit in Shanghai, Huawei introduced its Fintelligent AI Solution, a framework designed to help global financial institutions gain autonomy over their artificial intelligence systems. The move signals a shift in banking technology toward enterprise-wide agentic operations, moving beyond simple model deployment to long-term infrastructure control.

Jason Cao, CEO of Huawei Digital Finance BU, positioned the initiative around the core philosophy of "owning your AI." The solution addresses persistent industry hurdles including scalability, security, and sustainability by deploying three specialized operational layers: the Agent Factory for enterprise-wide agent management, the Token Factory for cost-efficient lifecycle operations, and the Data-Knowledge Factory for domain-specific intelligence.

The architecture relies on openJiuwen, an open-source platform tailored for multi-agent collaboration and financial-grade reliability. By integrating TokeNexus for token management and the Financial Agentic Data Solution for knowledge pipelines, Huawei aims to enable banks to transform legacy code and isolated data into reusable assets. These tools are intended to assist institutions in modernizing core systems while maintaining control over their proprietary intelligence. Huawei currently serves over 7,100 financial customers across 80 countries, and the company used the summit to highlight nine new "lighthouse" practices to serve as benchmarks for the industry's transition to agent-driven finance.
