Financial institutions currently struggle to reconcile transactional data with risk and compliance requirements, often hampered by siloed legacy architectures. Persistent addresses these bottlenecks by deploying the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform, utilizing Delta Lake and Unity Catalog to create a secure, governed foundation for AI agents. This technical shift allows banks to move beyond simple data consolidation toward predictive decision-making.

The firm recently launched a Merchant Risk Management and Fraud Detection solution powered by Agentic AI, designed to replace reactive controls with proactive oversight. Global BFSI Head Barath Narayanan noted that the value lies in applying transparency and control to vast, fragmented data stores. Josh Meyer, Databricks' Global Head of Brickbuilder and Industry GTM, credited the partnership's success to Persistent's domain-specific expertise, which ensures that technical deployments align with the specific regulatory demands of the financial industry.

Persistent, a Silver Tier Global Systems Integrator, maintains over 1,000 certifications on the Databricks platform. The company has already applied these frameworks to modernize risk infrastructure for a major European bank and to establish governed data management for a top-tier Japanese financial organization, successfully reducing cloud expenditure while improving oversight.
