Clinical progress remains the foundation of this expansion. In a Phase 1 trial funded by the U.S. Department of Defense, the vaccine demonstrated a strong safety profile and triggered immune responses in more than 74% of participants. The underlying technology targets human α-lactalbumin, a protein associated with lactation that is often expressed in aggressive breast cancer cells.
