The research, titled 'Validation of Anomalous Heat and Nuclear Signatures in the BRT-NiUCS-2 Reactor,' utilized hydrogen-loaded nickel-palladium catalysts to monitor thermal output and gas composition. Investigators observed helium and argon levels two to three orders of magnitude above background measurements. Crucially, the absence of nitrogen spikes suggests these findings are not the result of atmospheric leaks, providing a foundation for the company’s transition into Phase 2 testing.

While the reactor demonstrated consistently higher temperatures than calibration devices during operation, radiation monitoring yielded no detectable gamma or X-ray emissions, with neutron counts remaining at background levels. Ram Ramaseshan, CEO of Hylenr, stated that these findings serve as a critical external data point for the company’s roadmap. Moving forward, the team plans to implement quantitative calorimetry and advanced isotopic-ratio measurements to address core challenges regarding scalability and energy output reproducibility.
