Hunt Scanlon Ventures Bets on Behavioral AI Lab millionways

Greenwich-based Hunt Scanlon Ventures has acquired an equity stake in millionways, a New York frontier lab specializing in behavioral intelligence. The investment targets the integration of the startup’s proprietary Large Psychology Model, Thorsten-4, into the infrastructure of enterprise decision-making, executive hiring, and human capital management.

The partnership centers on Thorsten-4, a model built upon a decade of psychological research and 35 million tagged data points. Unlike standard generative models, this technology focuses on mapping human motives, communication patterns, and behavioral context. Co-founders Martin Cordsmeier and Max Weidemann designed the platform to provide the missing interpretative layer in AI-driven environments, where understanding human dynamics is as critical as workflow speed.

Scott A. Scanlon, CEO of Hunt Scanlon Ventures, frames the move as a strategic shift toward data-driven talent assessment. By backing millionways, the firm intends to move beyond intuition-based leadership evaluations, providing clients with structured, explainable intelligence. As AI agents become more prevalent in corporate settings, the ability to decode the human signals behind decision-making is emerging as a significant enterprise value lever.
