The digital landscape faces a period of rapid volatility, with Assemble reporting that its community members are experiencing traffic declines ranging from 40% to 60%. According to Membership Director Will White, nearly two-thirds of these organizations identify the operationalization of Answer Engine Optimization as their most pressing near-term hurdle. The council aims to bridge this knowledge gap by connecting 1,750 individual members across 394 companies, effectively pooling expertise from more than half of the Fortune 500.
"No company has the full playbook for this yet," said Assemble CEO Aaron Kissel. "The organizations that get ahead won't be the ones with the most resources. They'll be the ones learning fastest from each other." The council will debut at the North American Marketing Leadership Summit in late September, where executives from firms including Amazon, PepsiCo, and FIFA will begin formalizing strategies for AI-era growth. By facilitating peer-to-peer intelligence, the group seeks to provide the tactical clarity that traditional metrics and legacy roadmaps currently fail to offer.
