HealtHIE Nevada, the state’s nonprofit health information exchange, is partnering with b.well Connected Health to launch HealthRecords Nevada this fall. The initiative connects data from more than 220 hospitals and clinics, allowing patients to view their medical history in a single, secure digital space rather than navigating separate portals for every provider they visit. While the platform does not replace existing tools used for scheduling or billing, it offers a consolidated view of records drawn from statewide providers and national health data networks.

Brian G. Rosenberg, executive director of HealtHIE Nevada, noted that the project is a logical evolution of the organization’s mission to make clinical information more accessible to the people it serves. The platform leverages b.well’s identity verification and data aggregation tools to ensure patients can manage their health information with greater autonomy. This move aligns with federal CMS Health Tech Ecosystem initiatives, which prioritize data portability and the reduction of redundant administrative paperwork across the U.S. healthcare landscape.
