Brown & Crouppen Hits $2 Billion Milestone in Client Recoveries

Founded in 1979 by Ron Brown and Terry Crouppen, the firm has expanded from a local startup into a regional powerhouse. Today, it employs 40 attorneys and 220 legal staff across nine offices in Missouri, Kansas, and Illinois. The firm handles a broad spectrum of litigation, ranging from workplace injuries and motor vehicle accidents to complex wrongful death claims.

Beyond courtroom advocacy, the firm maintains a heavy emphasis on community reinvestment. This outreach spans food security initiatives, housing stability programs, and youth services. Recent efforts include partnerships with organizations like Kids' Chance, Operation Food Search, and Gateway 180, alongside volunteer work such as distributing backpacks to local students. According to managing partner Andy Crouppen, the $2 billion figure serves as a reflection of their history rather than a final destination, with the firm maintaining its focus on supporting the families they represent.
