The system arrives in two configurations: the standard Philips Skylight Medium and the VitaUp model. Both feature a slim, surface-mounted design, an IP44 rating for bathrooms, and an automated rhythm that shifts light temperature throughout the day. Users can also select from five preset lighting scenes via an included remote control.

The VitaUp variant adds a specialized UV-B module intended to support the body’s natural vitamin D production. Signify notes that while this feature is based on scientific research, the device is not a medical instrument and does not serve as a substitute for genuine sunlight. Currently available on Amazon, the VitaUp model will expand to select Home Depot locations this November.
