The program's second year marks a significant shift in resources for early-stage space companies. A network of global investors—including Draper Associates, E2MC, and Stellar Ventures—has bolstered the financial pool, allowing for the increased per-startup investment range. Beyond direct capital, the accelerator has secured a robust support ecosystem, headlined by Boeing’s $100,000 Technology in Space Prize and significant cloud computing credits from Google for Startups.
Operational barriers are also shrinking due to new flight sponsorship agreements. Companies such as Exotrail, Loft Orbital, and Rogue Space Systems have committed to providing discounted or complimentary flight opportunities, facilitating payload testing that was previously cost-prohibitive for many entrants. These participants are now undergoing mentorship and strategic development, preparing to showcase their flight-ready projects at a Demo Day in San Francisco this December.
