The recognition evaluates firms based on a blend of quantitative metrics and qualitative standards, including total assets, annual revenue, and overall quality of practice. According to the firm, the ranking process relies on a combination of regulatory data and detailed questionnaires submitted by participants. Jeff Concepcion, founder and CEO of Stratos, attributed the achievement to the consistent dedication of the company’s advisors and support staff.
Stratos currently manages over $17 billion in advisory assets, with an additional $10.9 billion in brokerage and third-party managed assets overseen through LPL Financial. Since its inception, the organization has expanded its footprint to include more than 300 financial advisors operating across 100 locations nationwide. The firm maintains that it paid no compensation for the ranking and operates independently of Barron's, noting that the award reflects institutional performance rather than individual client experiences.
