The scope of the order encompasses the entire manufacturing process, ranging from stock preparation to the final board machine, including headboxes, reels, and winders. To ensure consistent long-term performance, Valmet will deploy a suite of digital services alongside specialized paper machine clothing and spare parts packages. This integrated approach aims to stabilize production while meeting the technical demands of premium-grade coated board manufacturing.

Markus Veikkola, Sales Director for China and Asia Pacific, noted that the company’s previous regional installations currently serve as industry benchmarks for productivity. By bundling technology with maintenance and automation, Valmet intends to secure high-tier output levels throughout the investment's lifecycle. While the financial details of the agreement remain confidential, the deal was officially booked in the third quarter of 2026.
