Investors File Class Action Against Lincoln Educational Services

Investors who purchased Lincoln Educational Services Corporation common stock between May 11 and August 9, 2026, face a November 10 deadline to join a class action lawsuit. The litigation targets the company for allegedly misleading shareholders regarding student enrollment conversion rates and the actual start of classes.

The complaint filed by Wolf Haldenstein Adler Freeman & Herz LLP alleges that Lincoln executives failed to disclose critical operational weaknesses during the Class Period. Specifically, the suit claims the company’s admissions process struggled to convert enrollments into actual student starts. While the company reported a 9% growth in enrollment, the number of students attending the first day of class grew by only 1%.

This disparity became public on August 10, 2026, when Lincoln released its second-quarter earnings. Management admitted that shifts in student decision-making hindered conversion rates, prompting a sharp market reaction. Lincoln shares plummeted $10.22, or 24.93%, closing at $30.77 following the announcement. Investors seeking to participate in the litigation may contact the firm’s lead analyst, Gregory Stone, to discuss potential recovery for their financial losses.
