The platform, known as Oracle Health Oncology EHR, aims to unify the patient journey from initial diagnosis through long-term follow-up. Seema Verma, executive vice president and general manager of Oracle Health and Life Sciences, noted that current antiquated technology forces patients to repeatedly recount their medical history, increasing the risk of missed details during critical care windows. By centralizing information, the new system intends to provide clinicians with personalized treatment recommendations and context-aware summaries.

Built-in AI agents will assist oncology teams by generating pre-visit snapshots and supporting Tumor Board preparations. The software integrates diverse data points—including genomic, radiological, and laboratory findings—to streamline regimen planning. This includes automated lifetime cumulative-dose calculations for chemotherapy and immunotherapy, which are designed to support evidence-based decision-making. While the system is intended to connect nurses, researchers, and care coordinators, Oracle maintains that these features remain in development and are subject to change as the company refines its product roadmap.
