The selected cohort includes Accelerated Filtration, AmHyTech, DMR International, Lacuum, Green Steel Environmental, Myconaut, Nucleic Sensing Systems, Radmantis, Sequestro, and Subtidal. These companies will undergo a ten-month intensive curriculum featuring customized coaching and technical guidance. A core component of the program involves guaranteed pilot opportunities that allow entrepreneurs to test their technologies in actual environmental and industrial settings.

This expansion marks AquaAction's first US-based operation, building on a track record that has seen 72 companies generate over CAD $260 million in revenue. Support for the cohort comes from a coalition of strategic partners, including the Michigan Economic Development Corporation and the Great Lakes Water Authority. The initiative is bolstered by a Maritime Innovation Grant from the Michigan Mobility Funding Platform, ensuring that these startups have the infrastructure required to scale their operations within the state’s evolving blue economy.
