Longevity Emerges as Industry Priority in Live Love Spa Forecast

Seventy-four percent of wellness professionals have identified longevity as the primary growth sector through 2028, according to the inaugural report from Live Love Spa. The data marks a departure from traditional industry outlooks by prioritizing direct feedback from practitioners over external market analysis to track shifts in consumer behavior.

The report, titled The Wellness Forecast by Live Love Spa, highlights a fundamental transition in the sector from reactive treatments to proactive, daily health management. Industry leaders noted that consumers are moving away from cosmetic goals toward holistic, personalized experiences. Founder and CEO Lisa Michaelis stated that the findings reflect insights gathered from their network of over 20 annual B2B events, where practitioners often identify consumer shifts years before they reach the mainstream.

Beyond the dominance of longevity, the survey outlines a broader evolution in wellness, including increased attention to women’s health, nervous system regulation, and the integration of social connection into wellness routines. David Stewart, CEO of Ageist, noted that longevity is shedding its fragmented nature, with fitness, community, and clinical biomarkers now converging into a single, comprehensive approach to aging. Given the depth of the initial findings, the organization plans to transition this survey into a biennial publication to continue tracking these emerging habits.
