By bypassing offshore triage queues and multi-tier escalation processes, the service connects customers directly to US-based optical engineers. This model targets the operational bottleneck where clients wait months for hardware only to face scripted call-center responses when technical issues arise.

Beyond delivery speed, the initiative introduces expedited advance replacement for hardware, replacing standard 15-day depot repairs with priority-dispatched units. The service also includes hitless maintenance capabilities, allowing for in-service firmware updates and security patches that keep traffic active during critical operations. According to Casey Inman, Director of Sales & Marketing at XKL, the goal is to provide predictable capacity by removing the layers of bureaucracy that typically hinder network turn-up. CoreAssure is available immediately across the company's DarkStar product line, including the MediaLight and SpectraPath families.
