By updating battery energy plans every 15 minutes, the system aims to capitalize on price fluctuations without requiring manual oversight from the homeowner. Beyond consumer features, AlphaQ provides installers with diagnostic tools that analyze live system data and fault logs to accelerate maintenance workflows.

Alongside the software launch, the company is expanding its hardware portfolio with the VitaPower 3600 AC. This modular system offers between 4 and 16 kWh of storage with a bidirectional AC power output. The unit follows a scalable design, allowing users to transition from an initial 800 W plug-and-play setup to full capacity through simple activation. Jeff Noelmans, Managing Director of AlphaESS Netherlands, described the release as a move to transition AI from a marketing term into a functional utility for energy outcomes.

The timing coincides with significant regional growth for the manufacturer. Data from Mordor Intelligence indicates that AlphaESS captured a 29.7% share of the residential battery energy storage system market in the Netherlands during the first half of 2026, alongside a 19.5% share in Belgium.
