Lindholz began her career in 1995 within the Cincinnati-Dayton division, steadily climbing through pharmacy management and merchandising roles. By 2017, she took the helm of Kroger Health, where she gained industry recognition as the primary architect of the company’s "Food as Medicine" platform and the Nourishing Change movement. Her leadership steered the division through significant expansion, earning Kroger Health the 2022 Retailer of the Year title from Mass Market Retailer.

Beyond internal strategy, Lindholz cultivated a high profile in the broader retail and healthcare sectors. She served as chair of the National Association of Chain Drug Stores and received multiple industry accolades, including honors from Modern Healthcare and Mass Market Research. Mary Ellen Adcock, Kroger’s chief marketing and merchandising officer, credited Lindholz with a genuine commitment to community health and family wellness. A University of Cincinnati pharmacy graduate, Lindholz currently serves as executive chair of the American Heart Association’s Heart Mini and leads the board of directors for Easterseals Redwood in Greater Cincinnati.
