Cosmovision has partnered with the Ukrainian manufacturer Yuzhmash to produce the next generation of Zenit vehicles entirely within Australia, explicitly excluding Russian-made components. The project relies on advanced engines derived from the DC-X2 project, capable of producing over 80 tons of thrust. These powerplants, along with the broader rocket assembly, are slated for local production using environmentally friendly fuels and automated launch protocols.

Yuzhmash brings a legacy spanning seven decades, including the development of four generations of ICBMs and space launchers. With a track record of 700 successful missions, the firm remains a primary supplier of rocket stages for both the European Space Agency and the United States. The Zenit platform itself, once the backbone of the Sea Launch project, is designed for high-frequency operations, requiring only a small crew to move the vehicle from check-out facilities to the pad for rapid deployment. Capable of carrying 15 tons to low Earth orbit, the project aims to establish Australia as a significant player in international space launch services.
