Shin Nippon Air Tech Profit Surges 81% on Strong Revenue Growth

Shin Nippon Air Technologies Co. Ltd. reported a significant jump in profitability for the nine months ending December 31, with net income nearly doubling to ¥7.04 billion. The Tokyo-listed engineering firm benefited from a sharp rise in revenue, reflecting robust demand across its core industrial and commercial air conditioning operations.

The company’s financial performance showed marked improvement across all key metrics compared to the same period last year. Revenue rose to ¥104.67 billion, up from ¥88.57 billion, while operating profit surged to ¥8.84 billion, representing a nearly 68% increase from the previous year’s ¥5.26 billion.

Bottom-Line Performance

Pretax profit climbed to ¥9.54 billion, bolstered by efficient operational management and increased project volume. Earnings per share (EPS) nearly doubled, reaching ¥155.17 compared to ¥84.84 in the prior-year period. According to the company’s regulatory filing, these results were prepared in accordance with Japanese accounting standards.

The results underscore a period of rapid expansion for the HVAC specialist. Key financial highlights for the nine-month period ending December 31 include:

    • A 18.2% increase in total revenue.
    • A 68.1% jump in operating income.
    • Net profit growth of approximately 81.4%.
Despite the surge in earnings, the company noted that diluted earnings per share stood at ¥154.80, reflecting a stable capital structure as it navigates the remainder of the fiscal year.
