That analysis, which incorporated insights from 168 experts across 38 countries, concluded that long-term societal adoption of AI hinges on trust, explainability, and safe human-machine interaction. By convening these stakeholders, IEEE seeks to establish human-centered guardrails that prioritize long-term societal benefit over raw speed.
