Singh joins the Mountain View-based firm with a track record of scaling enterprise technology platforms. During his recent tenure at Palo Alto Networks, the company's market value grew fivefold, reaching $100 billion. His mandate at Omnissa centers on transforming how companies secure and manage devices as they evolve into agentic endpoints—hardware running AI agents that operate with individual user credentials and permissions.
Omnissa currently serves over 15,000 enterprise customers and manages tens of millions of endpoints. The company recently secured the top position across four categories in Gartner's 2026 Endpoint Management Tools report. According to Angad Singh, a member of the Omnissa Board of Directors and Co-Head of Software Private Equity at KKR, the company is positioned to capitalize on the shift toward AI-driven workflows by leveraging its existing footprint on enterprise devices. Singh views this transition as a fundamental architectural change comparable to the rise of personal mobile devices in the workplace, requiring a secure control plane that IT leaders can trust.
