Prince & Izant specializes in high-precision brazing alloys and specialty metal components, serving critical sectors including aerospace, defense, and aeroderivative turbines. With a product catalog spanning nearly 10,000 active SKUs, the company relies on advanced metallurgy and deep formulation expertise to supply essential parts like aircraft engine fuel nozzles and rocket engine components. The acquisition provides TransDigm with a significant aftermarket revenue stream, as much of Prince & Izant’s business supports a large, global installed base.

For the calendar year ending December 31, 2026, Prince & Izant is projected to generate approximately $390 million in revenue. The company maintains manufacturing operations across four states—Ohio, Illinois, Wisconsin, and New York—and employs a workforce of 220 people. This acquisition aligns with TransDigm’s strategy of acquiring firms that provide highly engineered, proprietary products for demanding high-cost-of-failure applications, further cementing its position as a primary supplier for commercial and military aviation.
