PostcardMania Adds AI Search Optimization to Multichannel Campaigns

As AI-generated search summaries begin to displace traditional website clicks, Clearwater-based marketing firm PostcardMania is integrating new search and AI optimization tools into its Everywhere Small Business platform, aiming to ensure local brands remain visible when consumers use tools like ChatGPT or Google AI Overviews to make purchasing decisions.

The new service, Optimize Search + AI, addresses a shifting digital landscape where traditional SEO is no longer sufficient. Recent data indicates that users click on traditional search results in only 8% of sessions when an AI summary is present. Because AI platforms aggregate information from third-party directories, reviews, and news coverage rather than just a company’s own website, small businesses often struggle to maintain visibility without dedicated marketing teams.

PostcardMania founder and CEO Joy Gendusa notes that the transition represents a critical survival strategy for Main Street businesses. By expanding its existing multichannel campaign—which already bundles direct mail with ads across platforms like YouTube, Gmail, and Connected TV—the company seeks to capture prospects actively researching products. The service follows a three-month rollout: an initial audit of online citations and Google Business profiles, followed by off-site listing optimization, and finally, ongoing content development to build search authority. This shift marks the firm’s continued evolution from a direct mail specialist into a comprehensive marketing technology provider serving over 130,000 clients.
