Investors File Securities Class Action Against Phoenix American Hospitality

A federal securities class action lawsuit now targets Phoenix American Hospitality, LLC, its associated REITs, and William Lee Nelson. Legal representatives at Bronstein, Gewirtz & Grossman, LLC allege that the defendants disseminated misleading information to shareholders regarding the company's financial operations between March 2022 and July 2024.

The complaint centers on claims that the defendants provided false disclosures, which were later contradicted by subsequent filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Investors who acquired securities in American Hospitality Properties REIT, Inc. or American Hospitality Properties REIT II, Inc. during the specified period are now eligible to participate in the litigation.

Those seeking to serve as lead plaintiff must file their requests with the court by November 16, 2026. Peretz Bronstein, founding partner of the firm, stated that the action aims to restore investor capital and enforce corporate accountability. The firm operates on a contingency fee basis, meaning legal costs and expenses are recovered only if the litigation yields a successful settlement or judgment for the class.
